Jen Fox graduated with an MA in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts in 2022; she lives and practices in North Norfolk.

Over the past few years her works has centred around ‘the book’, combining her interest in social history and nature she creates conceptual pieces that convey a sense of transience;  she records, researches and creates 3D works.

The emphasis of her MA research was based on finding answers to why she and other creatives find inspiration while walking, and why movement is connected to creative process. Using her own body as a vehicle, she explored the fragility and strength of the human condition under pressure.  The focus of the exploration was the existential aloneness experienced through walking, drawing parallels between erosion and climate change and the fragility of life, whilst considering their relationship to each other. With a connection to place, through sculpture, photography, and performance she communicated identity, loss and belonging.
